Acceptance of Terms
By booking a stay, attending an event, using our dining services, or accessing our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms govern all guests visiting Jim Corbett Resort — whether for leisure stays, wedding events, corporate meetings, jungle safaris, or any other purpose. If you do not agree, please refrain from making a booking or using our services.
Reservation & Booking Policy
2.1 Booking Confirmation
A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment and issuance of a written booking confirmation. Your booking reference number from the DevStayZ platform constitutes the official confirmation of your stay.
2.2 Advance Payment
All bookings require a minimum advance payment as specified at the time of reservation. The remaining balance must be settled in full at or before check-in.
2.3 Valid Identification
- All guests must present valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) at check-in.
- Foreign nationals must present a valid passport with current Indian visa.
- Failure to produce valid identification may result in denial of check-in without any refund.

Jim Corbett Resort reserves the right to deny early check-in or late check-out based on room occupancy. Guests are requested to vacate rooms by the designated check-out time.

4.2 Room Occupancy
- Each room has a defined maximum occupancy as per fire safety norms.
- Children below 5 years stay complimentary. Children aged 6–12 are charged at applicable rates.
- Extra guests beyond stated capacity will not be permitted without prior approval and payment.
4.3 Property Care
Guests are responsible for the condition of their accommodation during their stay. Any damage or loss caused by guests will be charged at replacement cost.
Guest Code of Conduct
- Guests must behave respectfully toward resort staff and fellow guests at all times.
- Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Noise or disturbance during these hours is strictly prohibited.
- Jim Corbett Resort follows a strict No Smoking policy indoors. Designated smoking zones are available.
- Outside alcohol is not permitted on resort premises.
- Any illegal activity will result in immediate eviction and reporting to law enforcement.
- Jim Corbett Resort reserves the right to ask any guest to vacate without refund in case of misconduct.
Wildlife & Environmental Responsibility
Jim Corbett Resort is located in the ecologically sensitive buffer zone of Jim Corbett National Park. Guests are expected to follow all environmental guidelines:
- Do not feed, disturb, or interact with wildlife in or around the resort.
- Follow all instructions from Forest Department officials and resort naturalists during jungle safaris.
- Plastic use is strictly discouraged on resort premises.
- Guests must not remove flora, fauna, or natural materials from the resort or surrounding forest.
- Maintain silence and minimise disturbance in forest-adjacent areas.
Jungle Safari & Activities
- Safari bookings are subject to Corbett Tiger Reserve Forest Department permit availability. Jim Corbett Resort does not guarantee permit availability.
- Once confirmed, jungle safari permits are strictly non-refundable per Forest Department rules.
- Jim Corbett Resort shall not be liable for wildlife unavailability or route closures due to forest authority decisions.
- Adventure activities (nature treks, rappelling, river rafting, mountain biking, paragliding) are at the guest's own risk.
- Jim Corbett Resort reserves the right to cancel activities due to adverse weather or safety concerns.
Dining Policy
- Jim Corbett Resort operates an Indoor Restaurant and an Open-Air Restaurant serving Indian, Chinese, Grill, and Fusion cuisines.
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the restaurants.
- Guests must be appropriately dressed in all dining areas.
- Room service is available during designated hours as communicated by the Front Desk.

📌 Note: GST charged on bookings is non-refundable as per Indian tax regulations. Peak season (October–June) and festive period bookings carry stricter cancellation terms as displayed at the time of booking.
Events — Weddings & Corporate
- Jim Corbett Resort is Uttarakhand's premier destination wedding venue, having hosted 500+ weddings over 12 years.
- All wedding and corporate event bookings require a non-refundable advance deposit of 30% of the total event value.
- External vendors must obtain prior approval from Jim Corbett Resort management.
- Jim Corbett Resort shall not be liable for event disruption caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond its control.
- Corporate bookings are subject to individually negotiated terms as per the booking agreement.
Limitation of Liability
Jim Corbett Resort shall not be held liable for:
- Loss or damage to personal belongings on resort premises.
- Injuries arising from guest negligence or adventure activity participation.
- Disruption due to power outages, internet issues, or forest authority restrictions.
- Unavailability of wildlife safaris due to Forest Department orders.
⚖️ Maximum Liability: Jim Corbett Resort's maximum liability is limited to the total booking amount paid by the guest.
Intellectual Property
All content on www.jimcorbettresort.com — including text, images, logos, videos, and design — is the exclusive property of Jim Corbett Resort. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of any website content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
Force Majeure
Jim Corbett Resort shall not be responsible for failure or delay in service due to natural disasters, government travel restrictions, Jim Corbett National Park closures, health emergencies, or other events beyond its reasonable control. In such cases, Jim Corbett Resort will offer credit notes, date modifications, or partial refunds at its discretion.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Disputes related to Jim Corbett Resort bookings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts at Nainital / Ramnagar, Uttarakhand. Guests may also approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
